Our Philosophy

Philosophy of Academics

At St Brendan Elementary School education is an active partnership among parents, students and faculty. We focus on the academic, spiritual, athletic, intellectual and ethical development of every student. Interactive process of the 21st century learner engages students in active learning, social technological interactivity, and problem solving. The St. Brendan faculty strives to be positive role models who live by their statement "educate students to become compassionate individuals who live their faith by following the Gospel values of Our Lord, Jesus Christ." For over 65 years St. Brendan Elementary School has prepared young children for success in academic and in life.

Early Childhood Philosophy of Education

At St. Brendan Elementary, we believe that every child is a precious gift from God. Our curriculum is designed to support the spiritual, social, emotional, academic, and physical growth of each student. With the teachings of Jesus and the example of Mother Mary, our educators guide children to show compassion to others and develop a life-long love for learning.

The foundation for our Pre-K program is rooted in our Catholic faith, development of the whole child, and academic excellence.
